Living at Porto Velho is...

Exchanging your favorite perfume for the repellent smell;

Taking to everywhere the survival kit - flashlight, insect repellant and umbrella (for sun or rain);

Living in houses that do not have glasses, but screens;

Learning the names of mosquitoes: carapanã, caba (terrorist), maruim, micuim, piau, etc..;

Having a desire to sing when it come a breeze;

Sleeping to the sound of crickets and many other insects that make up an orchestra native night;

Discovering that this piece Amazon rainforest is one of the most fragrant where we can walk;

Living with a varied number of indigenous people and discover that there are 225 ethnic groups in our country – Brazil;

Seeing with your own eyes, feel the skin and the smell that the Amazon could be much more beautiful, interesting, noisy and fragrant than we learn in school;

Looking a sign of cellular and wireless between the trees;

Discovering that your clothes can take a long time to dry, although much heat;

Drinking more water than usual, because it helps to find out if I have symptoms of malaria;

To plan well and write down everything you need in the city, because if I forget something, the manpower to go up there and back is big and expensive;

Been sure that God knows what it does and should have Your intentions to bring me that the woods.
